The NovaStar CVT4K-M is a fiber optic converter with 4 optical outputs that enable a data transfer of 10 Gigabit. The signal transmission range can be up to 300 meters. The required SFP modules with LC interface are already integrated in the CVTK4K-M.
The device also has 16 Ethernet ports. Each Ethernet port has a status display on the front of the device, which makes it much easier to monitor the signal flow.
Another feature of the device is the option of a redundant power supply via the 3-pin IEC connection and the powerCON connection. Of course, only one of the power supply inputs can be used.
